A tower defense roguelike where you build the maze.

One-eyed aliens in stupid hats are walking at Earth. You don't defend a fixed path — you draw it, wall by wall, and stand your guns on it.

How it works

They took the short way.

So you built a longer one.

And the walls hold the guns.

The dashed line is their route. Drop a wall and it re-draws — and those walls are the only ground a turret can stand on. Every piece you place is a decision about both.

  1. Enemies walk the shortest route to Earth
  2. You place walls; the route re-draws around them
  3. You build turrets on top of those walls

The invasion

Everything wears a hat.

Real models out of the game. Pick one to see what it does to you.

Pick an invader

Any of them.

Your side

Guns that disagree.

Twenty-two turrets. You get four per run — a Frost that never kills anything, a Bank that shoots nothing and pays you instead, a blade arch that only finishes what walks under it hurt.

Pick a gun

Any of them.

It's a roguelike

You will lose this run.

Then you'll start another one with a different four.

  1. Draft four guns from twenty-two. Never the same four twice.
  2. Pick a hat. Each one is a different run — poison, frost, or a bank that pays you to be greedy.
  3. Fight three acts, each with a boss standing at the end of it.
  4. Spend the loot between fights on relics, potions and better walls.
  5. Leak twenty hatlings and it's over. Start again.

They're already on the way.

Hat Invasion is coming to the App Store. One email when it lands — nothing else, ever.
